（路透加州太平洋斷崖17日電）廣受加州地主球迷歡迎的高爾夫選手梅瑞克今天在北信高球公開賽（Northern Trust Open）驟死賽擊敗美國同胞貝爾金，贏得個人第一座PGA冠軍。

梅瑞克（John Merrick）在里維拉鄉村俱樂部球場（Riviera Country Club）第4輪繳出負2的69桿，貝爾金（Charlie Beljan）則繳出並列當天最佳的67桿，2人打完4輪皆收在負11的273桿，進入驟死賽。 瑞典選手雅各布松（Fredrik Jacobson）在4桿洞第18洞5呎推桿意外失手吞下柏忌，以1桿之差無緣進入驟死賽。中央社（翻譯）
