巨人留住終結者 2年900萬搞定Romo

上季頂下巨人終結者位置，幫助巨人拿下世界大賽冠軍的Sergio Romo，在今(7)日跟巨人達成2年900萬美金合約，雙方避免薪資仲裁程序，Romo新球季將繼續把守巨人最後一道防線。

巨人跟Romo達成協議後，巨人隊上將沒有任何選手，要展開薪資仲裁聽證會，可以全心準備新球季。

Romo上季薪資只有157萬美金左右，他希望新球季的薪資是450萬美金，巨人一開始只願意提供267萬美金左右的價碼，但最後雙方仍達成協議，Romo將在2014年球季後成為自由球員。

上季Romo表現優異，繳出4勝2負防禦率1.79的成績，在季後賽裡拿下4次救援成功，防禦率只有0.84，封王戰也是由他三振老虎的Miguel Cabrera，畫下完美句點。
