官方會見Vijay Singh 圓石灘照常出賽

使用違禁藥物被調查中的斐濟老將Vijay Singh，將與PGA巡迴賽專員Tim Finchem會面，目前他仍不處於禁賽狀態，仍會參加本週在圓石灘的比賽。

Singh將在與美國時間週三與Finchem會面，圓石灘的賽前記者會上，Singh拒絕就此事發表評論，他先前已經說過，與巡迴賽官方配合調查，不會發表任何意見。

斐濟老將被〈運動畫刊〉報導使用一種含有類胰島素生長因子的鹿茸萃取物噴劑，這種成份被PGA官方所禁止，也被WADA（World Anti-Doping Agency ，世界禁藥管制組織）所禁用。

Singh發表聲明指出，他是在不知情的情況下使用這種噴劑，事前已經檢查過噴劑成份，對於把自己搞到今天這種局面感到生氣，會配合巡迴賽官方的調查。

巡迴賽規定，當選手因為使用禁藥被禁賽時，有7天的機會提出上訴，處理時間最多達45天。
